Privacy Policy

Last updated: [DATE] · Placeholder — replace with a counsel-reviewed policy.

What we collect. The account details you give us (name, email, date of birth), the content you create (posts, comments, photos, messages), and minimal technical data needed to run the service (session and, briefly, IP address for security).

How we use it. Only to operate Vimmel and keep it safe. We do not sell your data, and Vimmel runs no third-party advertising or analytics trackers — the only cookie we set is the strictly-necessary session cookie, which is why we show no cookie-consent banner.

Who can see your content. The audience you choose per item (public, friends of friends, friends, or only you). See Settings for the controls.

Your rights (GDPR). You can access and export your data, correct it, and request erasure. Deactivation hides your profile; deletion removes your account after a short grace period.

Data location & retention. Data is stored in the EU. Security logs and IP addresses are retained for a limited period and then removed.

Children. Vimmel is not for anyone under 13.
