Every photo from the party, in one album.
Drop one link in the group chat. Everyone adds their photos, gets tagged and finds themselves — shared with the people who were there, not the whole internet.

How it works
Make an album
Name it after the night — “Anna’s 30th”, “Midsummer 2026” — and choose who can see it: just the people in it, your friends, or friends of everyone who adds photos.
Share one link
Drop the album link in the group chat, or print its QR code for the tables. Guests open it in their phone’s browser, join with Google in one tap, and can add photos straight away. No app to download.
Everyone adds, everyone’s tagged
Photos and short videos from every phone land in one place. Tag your friends (they approve tags of themselves), comment, and relive the night together.
The social network like it was in 2009
More than an album
Albums the whole group adds to
Contributors add photos, viewers just look. Turn the link off or reset it whenever you like.
Tags that bring you back
“You were tagged in 14 photos.” Find every picture of yourself, and approve tags before they show.
Just your friends, newest first
A calm, chronological feed from people you actually know. No strangers, no influencers, no algorithm.
Minute-long videos
The toast, the first dance, the karaoke disaster — short clips that play right in the album.
Pokes, gifts and frames
Poke your friends, send a birthday cake, earn frames for your profile picture. The fun parts of 2009, back.

Questions
Is Vimmel free?
Yes. Albums, photos, videos, tags and your feed are free, with no ads. An optional Vimmel Plus (29 kr a month) adds extras like animated profile frames and profile themes, but nothing you need.
Do my guests need to download an app?
No. Vimmel works in any phone or computer browser. Guests open the album link and join with Google in one tap.
Who can see the photos?
You choose, per album: only the people in it, your friends, or friends of the people who add photos. Nothing on Vimmel is shown to strangers by default, and nothing is ever shown to advertisers.
Do I have to be friends with everyone who adds photos?
No. Anyone with the album link can join it in the role you picked (adding photos, or just viewing). New people who join through your link send you a friend request, which you can accept or ignore.
Can I get my photos out again?
Yes. You can download all of your data, or delete your account and everything in it, from Settings at any time.
What does “Vimmel” mean?
In Swedish, “vimmel” is the buzzing crowd at a party, and “vimmelbilder” are the photos of everyone mingling. That is exactly what Vimmel is for.
