Wedding photo sharing
Every guest’s photos of your wedding, in one album.
A hundred guests take a thousand photos of your day — and most of them never reach you. Give everyone one link, and every photo and video lands in a single private album you’ll keep forever.
No app to download · QR code for the tables · Private to the people you choose · No ads
How to collect your guests’ photos
- Create an album before the day. Call it something like “Our wedding — 14 June” and choose who can see it. Most couples keep it to the people in the album.
- Turn on the album link and let it add photos. Everyone who opens the link becomes a contributor, so they can add their own photos and videos (and remove their own, never anyone else’s).
- Share the link where guests will see it. Print the album’s QR code on a sign by the door or a card on every table, put the link in the guests’ group chat or wedding website, or ask the toastmaster to mention it during dinner.
- Guests add photos from their phones. They open the link, join with Google in one tap, and pick photos straight from their camera roll — during the party or on the train home.
- Relive it together. Tag each other, comment on the best ones, and find every photo you’re in. When you’re done collecting, reset or turn off the link.
Why not the group chat?
Photos sent to a group chat get buried under a hundred messages, half the guests aren’t in the chat, and nobody can find the photo of themselves three weeks later. A shared album keeps everything together in one place, with tags so people can find themselves and comments so the jokes from the night live on.
Private by default
Vimmel is a social network for people who actually know each other. There are no ads, no algorithm and no strangers browsing your photos. You choose who sees the album, guests approve tags of themselves, and you can download or delete your data whenever you like.
Questions
How much does it cost?
Nothing. Creating the album, adding photos and videos, tagging and commenting are all free, and there are no ads.
Do guests need to install an app?
No. The album link opens in any phone browser. Guests join with their Google account in one tap and can add photos straight from their camera roll.
Who can see our wedding photos?
You decide. Keep the album to just the people in it, or open it to your friends, or to friends of the guests who add photos. It is never public unless you choose that, and never shown to advertisers.
Can we put a QR code on the tables?
Yes. Every album link comes with a QR code you can print as a ready-made card or download as an image for your invitations or slideshow. Guests scan it with their phone camera and go straight to the album.
Can guests add videos?
Yes — clips up to a minute each. Longer videos can be trimmed to the best minute right in the browser before uploading.
Can we stop people joining after the wedding?
Yes. You can reset the album link or turn it off at any time. Guests you added to the album yourself keep their access.
Does this replace our photographer?
No — it adds to them. Your photographer captures the day; your guests capture the moments in between: the dance floor at midnight, the speeches from the back, the after-party.
