Shared photo albums
A shared photo album your whole group can add to.
Make an album, drop one link in the group chat, and everyone adds the photos and videos from their phone. Friends get tagged, comments roll in, and the whole night ends up in one place.

For every time you’re all together
Birthdays & parties
Everyone took photos; nobody has all of them. One album, one link, and the whole night is in one place by morning.
Trips & weekends away
Ten phones on one holiday. Everyone adds theirs, so nobody comes home with only the photos they took themselves.
Teams, clubs & associations
An album per season or per event — matches, dinners, the away trip — that new members can scroll back through.
Graduations & reunions
Collect the photos from classmates you only see once a year, tagged so everyone can find themselves.
How shared albums work on Vimmel
You own the album and set the rules. Add friends yourself as contributors or viewers, or turn on the album link and choose which role it gives. Anyone you send it to can join — even if they aren’t on Vimmel yet. Each link also has a QR code you can print for a party, a clubhouse wall or an event door.
Everyone adds their own. Contributors upload photos and minute-long videos from their phone or computer. They can remove their own photos, never anyone else’s.
Tags bring people back. Tag friends in photos and they’re told about it; people approve tags of themselves before they show. It’s the easiest way to find every photo you’re in.
Just the right people see it. The people in the album always can. You choose whether anyone else does — your friends, or friends of the people who added photos, which is usually exactly the crowd that was there.
Better than a group chat
Group chats bury photos under messages, and the people who weren’t in the chat never see them. A shared album keeps every photo together, lets people find themselves through tags, and stays easy to scroll back through years later.
Questions
What’s the difference between contributors and viewers?
Contributors can add photos and videos (and remove their own). Viewers can look, like and comment but not add. When you share the album link, you pick which role it gives.
Who can see a shared album?
The people in the album always can. Beyond that you choose: nobody else, your friends, friends of anyone who adds photos, friends of friends, or everyone.
Can people who aren’t on Vimmel open the link?
Yes. Before joining they see the album’s cover, title and how many photos are in it. Joining takes one tap with Google, and then they’re in.
Is it free?
Yes — shared albums, photos, videos, tags and comments are free and ad-free.
Can I remove someone’s access later?
Yes. Resetting or turning off the link removes everyone who joined through it; people you added yourself keep their access.
Start one for last weekend
It takes a minute. Send the link to everyone who was there.
